We marked out a planting grid for the lettuces and then used our graphed design to lay the lettuces out
in a pattern which read ‘G P S’

I had grown a number of green and red mignonette seedlings ahead of time for this purpose but they could easily have been bought from any Canberra nursery.

need:     32 green lettuces     28 red lettuces     planting trowel     stingline     bed marker

Garden rake modified with poly-pipe fingers to make a row marker.

3. Watered plants and worms thoroughly!
