How to fit a Homi Head to a Long Handle

Remove a small amount from the top of the handle to enable the ferrule to be forced on. Drill a 40 mm x 9 mm hole long ways into the handle, followed by a 100 mm x 6 mm hole. 

Coat the top of the handle with Super Strength Araldite (not Rapid Set) then force on the ferrule.

Liberally coat the shank of the blade with Araldite and insert the shank into the hole as far as it will go rotating it as you push it in.

Firmly tap the other end of the handle (not the head end) on a firm surface to seat the head. Fill up any voids between the shank and handle with glue. Allow to set for a minimum of two days before use.
