A very light-weight traditional Japanese Garden Sickle. It has a 160 mm long sharp serrated carbon steel blade attached to a 210 mm wooden handle. We use it to:

• Clean up weeds in tight spots like in corners, at the base of trees and around tap stand pipes.
• cut down small areas of green manure crops. We leave the cut plants in place where they become mulch
• pruning raspberry canes
• light clearing

If the job is small and you can't be bothered firing up a brushcutter or sharpening the scythe this tool makes easy and quick work mowing down tall, untidy, soft weeds.
